Celebrating Burns

This Saturday people around the world will gather together to celebrate the life and works of one of Scotland’s favourite sons, Robert Burns.

In celebration of the Bard’s birthday our very own Burns, public performer Ali Strachan, has put together a selection of Scots poems about the castle.

It’s time to brush up on your Scots and raise a wee dram to the life, works and spirit of the great Scottish poets. Haggis, neeps and tatties here we come.

Join us this weekend for a light-hearted introduction to Burns and some of his works. Crowd participation is highly encouraged!
