A night to remember

The Royal Military Tattoo will be taking centre stage on the castle’s esplanade from 4 to 26 August. This year’s performance will embrace a colourful theme of a ‘Splash of Tartan’ which not only focuses on Scotland’s national fabric but also reaches out to everyone with a link to Scotland: those that live in Scotland, those with a family connection, those visiting and those simply with an interest.

Make it a night to remember and enjoy dinner at Edinburgh Castle before the show. Our newly decorated Queen Anne Room is the perfect setting to enjoy a 4 course meal, fine wine, breath-taking city views and a behind the scenes preview of the show ahead.

Visitors will be guided over the castle’s drawbridge to their seats where the atmosphere will electrifying as they wait for the nights spectacular performance. Don’t forget your tartan!
